She was predeceased by: her mother Maria; her husband Walter; her brothers, Heinrich Kornelsen (Isaak) and Jakob Kornelsen; and her grandson Isaak Langelotz.

She is survived by: her sister Margaret Kankel; her siblings-in-law, Gunther Kankel and Mary Kornelsen; and her children, Heidi (George), Rolf (Alana) and Karl (Marla). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
