She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Stewart Young and Tannis Minota Young (Middleton); her stepmother Mrytle Young (McKinnon); her husband David Clifford Russell; her brothers, David and William; and her son-in-law Ernest Shtokalko.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Shtokalko; her grandsons, Mark and Christopher Newman (Adrienne); and her sister-in-law Donna Young of Oak Lake, MB. She is also survived by four great-granddaughters.
