He was predeceased by: his parents, Honoré Payette and Hubertine Payette; his siblings, Jeanne Bibault (Maurice), Raymond Payette, Noëlla Jubinville (Roland), Irene Payette and Céline Payette; and his siblings-in-law, Alban Magne, Emile Labossiere, Raymond Rondeau, Maurice Labossiere, Fernand Bessette, Aimé Bourgeois and Doreen Payette.
He is survived by: his siblings, Yvette Labossiere, Edith Rondeau, Lucille Labossiere-Bessette, Paul Payette and Jean Payette (Linda); and his sister-in-law Rose Marie Payette. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and his friends.
A rosary was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Somerset Roman Catholic Church (402 Lachance St, Somerset, MB R0G2L0). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roger Payette Funeral Service.
