He was predeceased by: his wife Cécile Picton; his children, Alain Picton and Lucille; his son-in-law Gerald Fay; his parents, Michel Picton and Anaïs Picton; his siblings, Denis, Marie Rosset (Albert), Robert and George (Muriel); and his in-laws, Omer, Rose Aimé, Simone, Denise and Gérard.

He is survived by: his children, Doris Fay, Fern Picton (Kathleen Bell), Jackie Major (Dennis), Andrea Van Damme (Robert), Leonie Cabernel (Ken), Norbert Picton (Lucette Labossière), Lorraine Picton (Marcel Hardy) and Richard Picton (Lianne); his grandchildren, Micheline, Rachelle, Normand, Gilbert, Gabriel, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Jeremy, Andrew, Joanna, Jason, Tracy, Bryson, Curtis, Ashley, James, Michel, Nicholas, Nicole, Dylan, Logan, Taryn, Cody, Kieran and Mason; his siblings, Edmond Picton, Pauline Picton, Louise Rosset (Denis) and Hélène Drobko; his in-laws, Hélène Picton, Rita Painchaud and Ida Heindricks (Dave); and also Joanne Picton. He is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
