Cecile Geirnaert Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecile Geirnaert of Somerset, Manitoba, who passed away on January 22, 2024 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cecile Geirnaert to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lucien Geirnaert; her first born Marie; her parents, Arthur Stevens and Clementine Stevens; her parents-in-law, Urselin and Dora Geirnaert; her sisters, Madeleine Cabernel (Maurice) and Evelyn Timmerman (André); and her brothers-in-law, Raymond Lecoq, Antoine Geirnaert, Mervin Geirnaert and Armand Le Néal.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Geirnaert (Lisa) and Cheryl Evoy; her grandchildren, Crystelle, Michael Jr. and Kendra; her siblings, Marguerite Lecoq and George Stevens (Diane); and her sisters-in-law, Denise Le Néal, Doreen Geirnaert and Yvonne Geirnaert. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
