He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Botten and Alfred R. Botten; and his sister Randi. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Stephanie, Michael, Kelsey, Bryson, Allyssa, Rylan and Cameron; his grandson Michael Botten (Katelynn); and his great grandchildren, Astrid, Kylee, Terek and Lakelyn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the The Pas and Area Animal Shelter in The Pas, an organization Mike felt strongly about.
