He was predeceased by: his sister Annie; his brother-in-law Sam Widdicombe; and his parents, P. K. Peterson and Minnie Peterson. He is survived by: his sister Florence; his brother-in-law Jack Widdicombe; and his nieces and nephews, David Widdicombe (Ruth), Penny Menzies (Ian), Melva Widdicombe (Ivan Sabesky), Peter Widdicombe (Michelle) and Daryl Widdicombe (Janet). He is also survived by numerous cousins and many friends.
