He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Hirst and Mayme Hirst; his brother Murray; and his in-laws, Stefan and Bernice Helgason.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his sons, Brad (Kceniia), Trent (Juli), Greg (Ashlea) and Travis Goertzen (Allie); his grandchildren, Hayden, Elaina, Hadlea, Matix and Polina; and his brother Dana (Wendy) of Virden, MB. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel (309 Eveline St, Selkirk, MB R1A 1M8).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lord Selkirk School Division Breakfast Program in memory of Bob.
