He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Sipley and Samuel Sipley; his daughter Brenda of San Diego; his wife Joan of Lac du Bonnet; his siblings, James and Joyce; and his siblings-in-law, June and George.
He is survived by: his nieces, Lori of Winnipeg and Sydney (Bruce) of Ottawa. He is also survived by three great nieces; two great nephews; one great-great niece.
