It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorne Thorvaldson (Selkirk, Manitoba), who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Kevin and Dayna; his granddaughter Taylor (Vince); his great grandchildren, Libby and Thor; his grandchildren, Ronald, Neveah, Harley, Haven and Elroy; his siblings-in-law, Jim (Linda), Glen (Edie), Gary, Alvin, David (Jodie) and Coriene (Gary); and his brother Norman (Pat).

Due to the current COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd at 2:00 p. m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Selkirk and District Community Foundation in memory of Lorne.
