He is survived by: his parents, Ulla Liljegren and William Kocay; his grandparents, Shirley Kocay of Clandeboye, Aimo and Anneli Liljegren of Finland; and his sisters, Sheila Gagnon and Sanna Kocay. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
He wrote, recorded, and released 5 full length studio albums and had a 6th ready to be recorded after the pandemic.
