He was loved and cherished by many people including: his great-grandparent Papa John; his children, Linda (Ronald), Richard (Valerie), Donna (Allan) and Sandra (Dale); his son-in-law Louie; his wife Isabel; his daughter Cheryl; his parents, Gisli and Julia; and his sisters, Mae and Joyce. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and due to COVID-19 no formal service will be held.
