He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander and Daisy; his wife Donna; his siblings, Melvin, Irene Chambers and Eleanor Husluk; his niece Kathleen Kisiloski; his sisters, Joyce Kisiloski and Audrey Hebert; his niece Boni Easton; his nephews, Randy Husluk, Malcolm Chambers and Ronald Hebert; and his sister-in-law Agnes Moore.
He is survived by: his children, John Mackay (Michelle), Dawn Plett (Timothy) and Kevin Mackay (Lynette); his grandsons, Ian, Orrin, Ryan, Tyler, Malcolm and Michael; his sisters, Florence Skwarek and Margaret Palmer; and his siblings-in-law, Alice Banman, Alvina Jardine and Garth Jardine (Diana).
