He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose (Zawacki) and Anthony; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Elva Thompson; his siblings, Joe, Bill (Felicia), Ralph (Barb), Joyce and Mabel Zaborniak (Walter); and his siblings-in-law, Jeanne and George Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, Derik (Lisa) and Scott (Tannis); his grandchildren, Braydon, Reise, Ashlyn, Jessica and Alexis; his siblings, Mel, Tony (Vi) and Rose-Ann (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Adele Chwartacki, Pearl Thompson and Gordon Thompson (Janice). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
