He was predeceased by: his father Robert; his stepfather Michael; and his siblings, Rob, Dennis and Barb.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his daughters, Cassidy (Tyler) and Christina (Ian); his granddaughter Mila; and his mother Lovina. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, and his numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honour of Doug to the Canadian Cancer Society directed to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
