He was predeceased by: his former wife Irene; his daughter Brenda; his parents, Clarence and Laura; his sister Esther; his brother-in-law Victor; his brothers, Carter, Raye and Edward; and his mother-in-law Alida.

He is survived by: his wife Sissel; his children, Greg (Susan) and Bonnie (Brett); his stepchildren, Kathy (Andrew) and Mike (Angela); his grandchildren, Mike (Chrystal), Tanya (Nick), Hunter (Kaylie), Zachary (Gina), Andrew, Nicholas, Amelia and Beau; his great grandchildren, Corrinaa, Jaxson, Jace and Lexi; his siblings, Lloyd (Pat), Dennis (Judy), Murray, Donna (Ron) and Carol (Ron); and his parents-in-law, Linda, Bev, Jan (Ina) and Glenn (Jeannie).
