He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Hoye and William Hoye; his aunt Florence Hoye; his sister Diane Oystrek (late Sheila Hoye); his parents-in-law, Ida Williamson, Josephine Elliott and Bob Elliott; and his brothers-in-law, Ted Purvis and Ross Williamson.
He is survived by: his children, Bree Hoye (Vlad Snovida), Bryce Hoye (Sam MacKinnon), Sherene Smoluk (Brad), Sharlene Yarish (Larry) and Rayna Debow; his grandchildren, Bethany (Curt), Jesiah (Chanelle), Trinity (Colin), Riley (Rachel), Mackenzie (Halle), Nick (Alana), Lyric (Ryan), Zara (Josh), Blake and Lila; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Abby, Halle, Brielle, Espey, Genesis, Cillian, Bella, Willow and Declan; and his close friend Ric Liewicki.
