He was predeceased by: his father John; his stepfather Alec Popowich; his sister-in-law Lynne; and his mother Anne. He is survived by: his siblings, Walter and Bev (Mike); his nieces, Jennifer (George) and Katy (Chris); his nephew Alex; and his aunt Rose Popowich.
