He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacques Hunter and Mabel Hunter; his grandson Cole; his brothers, Carmen and Ron; and his brother-in-law Jack.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Kristin (Chris), Natalie (Kevin) and Sherri (Russ); his grandchildren, Taylor (Will), Brooke and Reid; his siblings, Ken (Linda), Ellen, Joyce (Colin), Carol (Clayton), Jackie (Ron) and Jeannette (Doug); and his sisters-in-law, Carol and Judy.
