She was predeceased by: her parents, Laugi Melsted and Lena Melsted (John); her sons, Larry and Jim; her siblings, Oli, Axel Melsted and Kristine Dunning; and her son-in-law Ron Potter.
She is survived by: her daughter Val; her grandchildren, Lance (Violeta), Jodie (Phil), Jen (Aaron), Rebecca and Tim (Nicole); and her siblings, Runa, Laugi (Betty), Albina (Doug), Hjalti (Julie), Arnie (Lorraine) and Fjola. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
