He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Evelyn; his siblings, Ken, Roddy, Clifford, Josephine and Alice; and his grandson Michael.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Sheldon (Kathy), Beverley (Kris), Sandra (Lloyd), Bradley (Gladys), Audrey (Tommy) and Janine (Chad); his siblings, Charles (Valerie), Lynn (Linda), Lillian and Inez; his friend Eugene Syrotiuk; and his pet Sandy.
