She was predeceased by: her daughter Corinne; her parents, Stefan Olafson and Kristin Soffia Olafson; and her siblings, Helga (George), Steve (Dora), Harry (Beatrice), Fjola, Joyce (Brodie), Esther (Leo) and Viola.

She is survived by: her husband Charlie (Charlie); her daughter Cheryl (Greg); her grandchildren, Kelsi and Kyle; her son Stefan (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Casey and Katie; her great grandchild Brinley; her grandchildren, Cindy (Greg), Skylar, Reena, Warren (Cindy), Reese, Graeme, Brett, Ryan (Marsha), Alex and Ivy; her son-in-law Brent Halwachs; and her brothers-in-law, Raymond Ostertag and Jim Mark. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
