He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hnatiuk and Doris Hnatiuk; his brother Harold Hnatiuk; and his brother-in-law Bert Gillman. He is survived by: his wife Alyce; his daughters, Tara Hnatiuk (Brad Taplin) and Stacy Stewart (Corey); his stepchildren, Hans Berger (Michely), Kurt Berger (Sara) and Stephanie O'Brien (Kerry); his grandchildren, Emery, Macalan, Isabella, Alyssia, Tobias, Michael and Brielle; his brother Allan Hnatiuk (Wendy); his sister-in-law Honey Kowall (Harry Reiss); and his aunts, Irene Banash and Olga Hnatiuk. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
