She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim (Alice Vernie) and Chris. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Lenna (Mark), Kevin (Cindy), Daron and Aaron (Jacki); and her grandchildren, Alexis, Nick, Dylan, Abbi, Chase, Cruze, Tucker and Breeze. She is also survived by relatives, friends.

“I was very saddened to hear of Christeena's passing. I did know that she had some health issues but had no idea just how ill she was. I spoke to Chris quite often as she had relinquised her very loved dogs to my Rescue, Before the Bridge Senior K9 Rescue Inc., because of ill health. I sent pictures of her furbabies and updated her on their lifes. My deepest condolences go out to Chris's family. Judy Smith-Hill”
