With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Forbes (Selkirk, Manitoba), born in Oak Bluff, Manitoba, who passed away on January 3, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Douglas and Diane; his parents, Edward Forbes and Elizabeth Forbes (Taylor); and his brother Ronald.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra (Bernhard); his grandchildren, Amanda, Bradly (Caitlyn), Jessica, Laura (Randy), Donald, James and Maria; his great grandchild Mya; his sisters-in-law, Christine Dann (Victor), Margaret Kernested and Hazel Williams; and his wife Marlene Thorlakson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made to Diabetes Canada or to the Oak Bluff Cemetery Maintenance Fund payable to RM of Macdonald and mailed to Box 51 Oak Bluff, MB R0G 1N0.
