It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arnold Furdyk (Selkirk, Manitoba), born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, who passed away on October 31, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne and Jozef; his siblings, Joe, Leona (Reggie Waterman) and Adele (Dale Tyler); the mother of his children Mariette; his siblings-in-law, Cornell Hoogervorst, Orton Cochrane, George Ferris, Pierre Rivard, Peter Doell, Henry McDonald and Leona Doell; and his friends, Lorne Thorvaldson, Mervin Sinclair and Henry McDonald.

He is survived by: his wife Beatrice (Bea); his sister Cindy Hoogervorst; his daughters, Rhonda Furdyk and Laurie Massey (Robin); his siblings-in-law, Madeline, Mary, Sharon and Clarence Hood; his niece Val Olson; his godchildren, Terry Waterman and Adrianna Hoogervorst; his friends, Sharon and Cheryl; and his siblings, Mary Rivard and Clarence Hood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
