With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Andrew Mayo (Selkirk, Manitoba), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Andrew left this world on February 4, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his sons, James Ian and Kevin Andrew; his parents, Bruce Mayo and Irene Mayo; his siblings, Inez and Gordon; his in-laws, Douglas and Vina Pruden; and his siblings-in-law, Thelma Pruden, Bernice Hilts, Gale Mayo, Judy Mayo, Douglas, Kenneth Pruden and Gordon Sayer.
He is survived by: his son Kyle (Doreen); his granddaughters, Caitlin and Paige (Shannon); his siblings, Corinne (Lance), Lila (James), Betty Ann (Mike), Alma (Dave), Bruce II, Edwin and Patrick; his daughter-in-law Leanne Adams; and his in-laws, Ervin Hilts, Valerie Grove (Norman) and Elizabeth Marchinko (James). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, Mb. A reception will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Southern Chiefs Organization Inc..
