He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian and Tashie; his siblings, Tashie Jr., Delbirt Bittern, Captain George and Violet; his niece Bonnie; his nephew Lionel; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene, Edna, Edith, Diane, Wanda, Clifford, George, Bill and Oliver (Ollie).

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Tina (Joel) and Derrick; his grandchildren, Darian, Corbin, Sevey, Brody, Kiana and Atresse; and his sisters, Christine and Beverly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-niece, great-great-nephews and many cousins.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Scanterbury Community Hall.
