He was predeceased by: his parents, Henley Legge and Agnes Legge of Heart's Delight; and his siblings, Elick Legge, Nita Stone (David) and Doreen Clarke (Josiah) of Whitbourne, Newfoundland..

He is survived by: his children, Nancy Hester (Len), Joanne Legge and Bruce Legge (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ethan, Nathan, Julien, Riley, William, Maison, Skyler, Meaghan and Christiana; his siblings, Eric Legge (Joan), Jean Hiscock (Doug) and Marjorie Foster; his nephew Lawrence Legge (Sheena); and his close friends, Art and Andrea Gaffray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
