He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Dunsmore; and his son Alan. He is survived by: his daughter Gina (Jayson); his siblings, Gary (Ruth) and Diane; his nieces, Val and Judy (Garnett); and his nephew David (Lisa). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces.
