It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Mykolaishyn of Russell, Manitoba, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike and Mary (Komaransky); and his parents-in-law, Martha, Harry (Linda), Peter, Jean (Mike Dereniwski), Rose (Russell Slone), Nellie (Johnny Stolarchuk), Waldymir Stadnyk and Russell Stadnyk.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his sons, Milton and Taras (Terrence); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Mykolaishyn, Janice Stadnyk, Joyce Stadnyk, Willy Stadnyk and John Stadnyk (Lucy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
