He was predeceased by: his wife Susie; and his grandson Lee Friesen. He is survived by: his grandfather Jacob Friesen; his children, Allan, Gladys of Swan River, Betty, Vernon of Rosenort, Lorne, Lena of Swan River, Katie, John of Winnipeg, Ervin, Erika of Rosenort, Leroy, Lois of Rosenort, Darlene, Brad of Winnipeg and Jean of Niverville; and also, Abram K. and Elizabeth Friesen. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren (many with spouses), and 25 great-grandchildren.
