He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia (Christensen); his granddaughter Kelly Rae Jaremy; his son-in-law Ronald Jaremy; and his parents, Dougall and Mary (McLean).
He is survived by: his children, Donna Jaremy and Karl McKinnon (Dianne); his grandchildren, Shannon Jaremy-Harder (Mel), Ian (Carrie), Kris (Sarah) and Leigh; his stepgrandsons, Nick (Kat) and Josh Harder; his great grandchildren, Lochlyn, Rhys, Kole, Jordyn and Darwin Harder; and his sisters-in-law, Irene McKinnon, Myrtle Christensen, Lucill Smerdal (Alma) and Barbara Jacobsen (Kent).
