He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Prokopowich and Katie Prokopowich (Nykolaishyn); his brother Russell Prokopowich; his brothers-in-law, Matt Diduck, Norman Chick and Gordon Puritch; and his parents-in-law, Nick and Elsie Puritch.
He is survived by: his wife Edna (Puritch); his children, Dwayne (Lisa), Dale (Annie), Dean (Grant), Illinois and Dawn (Sean); his grandson Jackson of Toronto, ON; his siblings, Boris Prokopowich (Jean) of Roblin, MB and Olga Diduck of London, ON; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Prokopowich of Dauphin, MB, Elma Chick of Roblin, MB and Melvin Puritch (Bernice) of Yorkton, SK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
