He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harold, Olive Thompson (Shannon), Nick and Annie Kitar (Twerdoklih); his parents, Clifford Thompson and Mary Thompson (Kitar); his stepmother Emily Thompson (Scheller); his brother Kirk Thompson; his niece Dominique LaFleur; and his sister-in-law Wilma Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Thompson; his children, Janine (Jared), JennyAnne (Ronald), Lisa (Rick), Jennifer, Dustin, Sarah, Elijah (Elizabeth) and Emily; his brother Norman; his stepbrothers, Shane, Dean and Todd Thompson; and his grandchildren, Lucas, Chandler, Elizabeth, Hunter and Nina.
