He was predeceased by: his parents, Julie and Graham; his brother-in-law Don Young; and also, Victoria, Neil Galatiuk and Les Galatiuk.
He is survived by: his wife Annie; his daughter Whitney; his son-in-law Sean; his granddaughters, Harli and Myla; his son Jamie; his daughter-in-law Jenn; his grandchildren, Keelan, Hattie, Navy, Ruby and Knox; his sister Hazel; and his in-laws, Arch, Sharon Galatiuk, Brad, Maricela Galatiuk, Reg, Shirley Galatiuk, Jackie and Darin Becker.
For his efforts Jim received the Bowl of Hygeia award in 2002, a prestigious pharmaceutical award given to an individual pharmacist who demonstrates outstanding contributions to their community and pharmaceutical service.
