She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her daughter-in-law Fran Ratcliffe; her grandson-in-law Drew Brislen; her parents, Alfred Lester and Mary Lester; and her parents-in-law, James and Annie Ratcliffe.
She is survived by: her daughter Colleen Rootsaert (Bob) of San Jose; her child-in-law California; her grandchildren, Keith (Leslie), Allison (John), Kyle (Linda) and Michelle (Greg); her son Jim Ratcliffe of Pontypool; her grandchildren, Bruce, Christie (James), Shaun (Dana) and Joel; her daughter Barb Halls (Allan) of Reston; and her grandchildren, Annette (Tariq), Craig (Colleen) and Neil (Michelle). She is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
