It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Bartsch (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmut Bartsch and Else Bartsch; and his brother-in-law Robert Maynard. He is survived by: his daughters, Rhea, Danielle and Emma (Mike); his grandsons, Kolton and Hazen; his siblings, Herbert, Klaus, Erich, Alfred and Ilona; and his former wife Dolly (Denis). He is also survived by many friends, aunts, uncles, cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel (56 Royal Rd S, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N1T6).
