He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Chaske; his grandparents, Geraldine Smoke, Louis Chaske and Katherine Sutherland; his aunt Doris Kay; and his uncles, Mike Kay and Allan Peters.
He is survived by: his son Wade Smoke; his mother Charlene Smoke; his brother Virgil (Hope); his nephews, Brooklynn, Bradley, Brenna and Bristen Chaske; his sister Katherine (Elliot); his niece Alexandria; his nephew E. J. Chaske-Cook; his grandfather Clayton Smoke; his cousins, Violet and Cassandra of Natasha, AJ; and his close friend Roberta Flett. He is also survived by his aunties and numerous cousins.
