Victoria (Vikki) Helen Melnyk Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Victoria (Vikki) Helen Melnyk (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), born in Birtle, Manitoba, who passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Maurice Gillis; her son-in-law Larry Befus; her parents, Sam Melnyk and Julia Melnyk; her brothers, Mike and Joey Melnyk; and her stepbrother John Melnyk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Melnyk-Befus of Cochrane and Angelia Strilec (John Reschner) of Steep Rock, Manitoba.; her grandson Patrick Ferguson (Rosalyn); her great grandchildren, Chase and Harper of Clandeboye, Manitoba.; and her sisters, Marion Davison of Innisfail, Alberta, Anne Michasiw of Chelmsford, Ontario and Margaret Mychaluk (Idaho) of Pocatello. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
