He was predeceased by: his sibling Von Mabanglo; and his mother-in-law Lourdes Valmeo. He is survived by: his wife Karen Mabanglo; his children, Simone Lauren, Vianca Kirsten and Kylan Lucas; his parents, Alicia Mendoza and Virgilio Mabanglo; his siblings, Angelica Mabanglo, Justin Mendoza, Vincent Mabanglo, Rona Mendoza, Russel Mendoza, Vernard Mabanglo and Victor Mabanglo; and his father-in-law Expedito Valmeo.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel (56 Royal Rd S, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N1T6). A Mass was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church (1125 E Saskatchewan Ave, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N3Y8). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel (56 Royal Rd S, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N1T6).
