She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Marahrens and Frieda Marahrens; her stepfather Kurt; her husband William (Bill); her brothers, Fred, Helmut and Klaus; and her daughter Karen.

She is survived by: her daughter Evelyn (Brian Lundeen) of Winnipeg; her siblings, Ralph, Elva and Karen; and her children, Elva (Alberta) of Bonneville and Ralph of Portage. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
