She was predeceased by: her parents, John Basaraba and Adeline Basaraba; her parents-in-law, William and Ida Rawlings; and her siblings-in-law, Viola, Robert Brown, Isabel, Bob Gillespie, Dave Moffat, Andy Phillips and Wes McKee (Floyd Rawlings).
She is survived by: her children, Shawn (Rosa) of Portage and Lori Taylor (Richard) of Hartney, MB; her grandchildren, Taylor (Raschelle), Hunter and Oliver; her siblings, Ron Basaraba (Sharon) of Gilbert Plains, MB and Bev Miller (Mike) of Salmon Arm, BC; her siblings-in-law, June Moffat of Portage, Ina Phillips of Edmonton, AB, Freda McKee of Elliot Lake, ON, Raymond and Laura Rawlings of Regina, SK; her niece Trina Tigg (Bruce); her friends, Jim, Ralph and Marilyn Mutter; her significant other Floyd Rawlings; and also, Krista and Eden. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel (56 Royal Rd S, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N1T6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
