He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Ash and Fred Ash; and his sister Frederica "Ricky" Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Irene Way of MacGregor; his sons, David Ash of Winnipeg, Bobby Ash of Winnipeg and Nicholas Nightingale-Ash of Shilo; his grandchildren, Landon and Ariel; his siblings, Rayner Ash (Debbie) of England and Leslie Irving of Manitoba; and his niece Jen Irving-Chandler (Jay). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
