He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ferris and Ellen Ferris; and his brothers, Douglas (Sheila Ferris) and Clifford (Betty Ferris). He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughters, Sharon Knelsen (Darrel), Barb Poole (Brad) and Valerie MacDonald (Steve); his grandchildren, Kevin MacDonald (Blythe), Stephanie MacDonald (Brady), Michael MacDonald (Katie) and Ashley MacDonald (Graham); his great grandchildren, Hector, Gwenevere and Eva; and his daughter Allison Green Chapellaz.
