He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Samantha "Sammy"; his parents, John Turko and Eva Turko; his brother Jimmy; his parents-in-law, Norman and Evelyn Asham; his nephews, Arlan and Kevin; and his brothers-in-law, Stephen Asham, Frank Davis and Albert Mousseau.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Asham; his children, Nicole and Darcy (Nici); his grandchildren, Ethan (Kiandra) and Kylee; his sister Janet; his nephew Jeffrey (Barb); and his siblings-in-law, Thelma, Betty, Arnold (Val), Ivor, Garth (Tracey), Kelly, Sandra and Carol. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
