It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Garner Sandney (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene and Lawrence; his sister Diana Knott; his parents-in-law, Marie and Oscar Olson; his sisters-in-law, Cathy Sandney and Cynthia Turner; and his godson Brett Sandney.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Angela Wiersema (Kevin), Bryan Olson and Jonathan Bouma; his grandson Hunter Wiersema; his nieces, Camryn Turner and Sheylene Gabruch; his siblings, Larry (Donna), Raymond (Shelly), Blanche Asham (Len), Carrol, Lindy Knott (Kenny), Peter (Fern), Kenny (Becky), Gerald (Alison), Mike (Donna), Shelley Doell (Ken) and Rickie; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Knott and Pamela Olson.
