It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Russell Jeffery (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Jeffery and William Cecil Jeffery; his brother Tom Jeffery; his niece Janice Young; his parents-in-law, George and Maria Martin; his brother-in-law John Martin; his brother William; and his sister-in-law Gloria Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Lila Jeffery of Portage; his daughter Sheila Bueckert (Simon) of Portage; and his granddaughters, Alicia of Portage and Kiersten Burkart (Jordan) of Winnipeg.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel (56 Royal Rd S, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N1T6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery.
