As Nelson departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Nelson may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Nelson leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Woods and Barbara Woods; and his son Geordie. He is survived by: his children, Derek, Andrea (Marcel) and Adrienne (Dean); and his brother Faron. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, her 3 children, 7 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel (56 Royal Rd S, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N1T6).
