It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary McWhirter (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Salloum and Shamse Salloum; and her siblings, Eddie, Rose, Habib, Fred, Phyllis and Albert.

She is survived by: her sister Helen Salloum; her grandchildren, Brian, Bruce (Anh), Sharon Bonar (Dan) and Wayne (Dana); and her great grandchildren, Cuong, Hung (Vadsana), Kallem (Rebecca), Brittany (Gary), Kyla (Jared), Ryan, Ainsley (Mike), Andrew and Ashley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to McKenzie United Church, 85 11th St. NW, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 2S2 or Central Plains Cancer Services, 318 Sask.
